WebNov 3, 2005 · The Hightower lathe is plenty to do cues. I have already made 10 in 1/2 year. I bought semi finished parts and that quickened the "turn and wait" time. I also see your point as I have wished for a 1,000 pound gorilla when boring out wood, but that is only 5% of my problems, which I create when a new design pops in my head.
