If you're asking how much boost you can run before you have to beef up a stock ALH block, around 28-30 psi. Any more and you'll need better rods, girdles, head studs, etc. WebMay 8, 2024 · Turbo lag can only ever be reduced, never eliminated. The only real solution is to compensate for the lag with something else, hence hybrid cars with turbo+supercharger, turbo+electric blower or turbo+electric motor.
