Lighting is a doddle, with an easy safety interface. The cans for the burners last about 4 hours and are easily refilled (not hot !). Hopefully the Maxie won't suffer from the issues that some imported units have, but normally we will be using the ultra-reliable Maxie metho stove anyway.
